Celtic have released a brilliant piece documenting the league season and its highs and lows. Brendan Rodgers’ side retained the Premiership after a compelling yet turbulent campaign. Injuries ravaged Celtic at key moments but the team persisted and the manager was able to push the club onto success in the league again this season.

The club’s multimedia team released the season review, which focused on the journey from Brendan’s return up to the moment that they lifted the title.

There have been a number of subplots this season after Brendan came back to replace Ange Postecoglou. The injuries, the transfer market and also the narratives of discontent being sown by sections of the media. Rodgers insisted that the club would write their own story in the final weeks of the season and the Irishman has stuck to that.

Celtic will now look to the end the story of the 2023/24 season with a win in the Scottish Cup Final in what will be Joe Hart’s final game for the Hoops. The Englishman has been a constant since arriving from Spurs but stood up in the run in and, if anything, his retirement was a catalyst to the team to ramp up their form to ensure he had a suitable send off.

There was, however, no mention of Santa Claus despite the redemption arc involving the toymaker and the Celtic support.
